Is there any relationship between this vow, and conscientious objection to military service, or to paying taxes that go to pay for war?

Although I follow the values of non-violence, the Vow of Wealth hasn't emerged as a response to any of today's issues. It is nourished by a spiritual practice that leads to practical choices and, as much as possible, invites creativity, innovation, and the exploration of new paths.
