By not accepting money aren't you basically saying that you do not recognize Nation-States?

As far as my understanding and knowledge goes, modern Nation-States are built around constitutions. None of the constitutions I know stipulate that citizenship is defined by a currency. Citizens are bound around agreements and values. The Vow of Wealth is intending to embody these agreements in a straightforward way, to bring them to the next level. For instance in France, I don't see how "Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité" (Liberty, Equality, Fraternity), those universal words, can be honored in a society where conventional money prevails. My choice is to do everything possible to uphold and respect the fundamental values inherent in the constitutions of Nations, something that Nations themselves often fail to do.
